A series of seminars and roundtable discussions, on “The Cooperation of American Educational Institutions within the International Program of Teaching the Russian Language” were held December 15-16, 2016.
On Dec.15 at the Russian Cultural Center in Washington DC, and in Falls Church, VA. CRA Pres. N.Sabelnik was invited to make a welcoming speech on behalf of CRA and the Coordinating Council of Russian Compatriots.

CRA director, E.Branson was also among the guests, as were representatives of Rossotrudnichestvo, American Councils, educators from various schools and universities of Great Washington, and professors from the Pushkin State Institute of Russian Language.
On Dec.16, USA based Center of the Pushkin Institute was officially opened in partnership with “Metaphor” Academic Center for Russian Language and Culture”. This is the first such partnership in the US which will allow accreditation to Russian bilingual students in US.
