Congress of Russian Americans proudly presents many of the Russian School graduates with certificates of achievement, congratulatory letters and special stipends for Gold and Silver recipients, as well as honorary CRA membership for 2023. Awards were handed out by CRA directors or representatives in various Russian schools including the Sts. Cyrill & Methodious Russian School at the Holy Virgin Cathedral in San Francisco, the All Russian Saints Russian School in Burlingame, Holy Transfiguration Russian Orthodox Cathedral Russian School in Los Angeles and others. CRA members’ and graduate students in good-standing are eligible to apply for scholarship to university or college upon reaching the age of 18. Criteria for CRA scholarship are not just CRA membership and high GPA, but active volunteers in the CRA and the Russian American community. CRA encourages youth to preserve the Russian language and spiritual and cultural heritage. We commend all of our graduates in their hard work and accomplishments and wish all of them, as well as our scholarship recipients much success in their future endeavors!
Members of CRA attended the Graduation ceremony in Los Angeles at Holy Transfiguration Russian Orthodox Church Parochial School. We were honored to award a diploma and stipend to a student who finished all 10 years of continues education. Pictures from graduation ceremony in Los Angeles attached below.
