This year marks the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II. Learn about two stories unfolding at opposite ends of the world – one about Russian Americans and their contribution to achieving that victory, and the other about the fate of the Russian Pesniarsky family (specificaly, Igor Pesniarsky, nephew of Colonel Lektorskiy). The presentation is based on the family archives of the Pesniarskys, who ended up in Los Angeles and entrusted their archives to the Museum of Russian Culture in San Francisco.
